Grind On

"The University of Toledo club tennis team is an active participant in the USTA midwest section and part of the larger "tennis on campus" series. This weekend Toledo traveled to the University of Michigan to play UM and Saginaw Valley. Toledo went 1-1 with a tough loss to UM but clinched victory over Saginaw Valley due to a clutch performance by George and Nicole (far left). Looking back at the same time last year, the University of Toledo’s club tennis team was practically non-existent. It had gradually decayed from the inside-out. The match today showcases the increased quality of Toledo's club team and exemplifies Toledo's competitive edge and aggressive desire to pursue competition.
