Had E9! (Had enough)

"I am the French teacher at Central York High School, York, PA, and these t-shirts were designed by the girl on the far left in the first row for our National French Week celebration. It's a sort of a pun. The number "9" in French is neuf (pronounced "nuf"). E9 can sound sort of like "enough" in English. The word on top, "assez," is the actual French word for enough. All French students who bought one wore them on the same day during National French Week to show solidarity among French students. This is just one of my classes, of course. It's not all of the students who bought the shirt." - Lori Jacobs (Nov 07, 2018)
