Happy Birthday Oakwood

"OAKWOOD SCHOOL CELEBRATES 15 YEARS Oakwood School, located at 105 John Wilson Way in the south end of Morgan Hill, celebrated their 15 Year birthday in style on Monday, September 16. The entire student body and staff gathered for a picture and all were wearing their grade level spirit shirts. Then, after a rousing Happy Birthday sing a long and a school wide wave, everyone enjoyed cupcakes and ice cream while some students continued with dancing. Fifteen years ago the school opened in portable buildings while the permanent buildings were under construction. Since then, the school has grown and provides a more intentional education for students from pre-school through high school. Oakwood is Morgan Hill's independent, non-sectarian, college-preparatory school. The school has a diverse community, thriving on an expansive campus and provides a home for an extended family of learners. Oakwood students also kicked off their Fund Run fundraiser which will culminate on September 27. Students will be soliciting donations and then participate in running laps around a track, surviving an obstacle course and then celebrating with a family social BBQ.
