Hoops for Hope

"Hoops for Hope is a charity basketball tournament with great competition, raffle prizes, and fun games and activities. For a firsthand look of the event, please don’t hesitate to view the video recapping last year's tournament and this year's flyer attached below. All proceeds benefit the Grand Street Settlement, an organization located in the Lower East Side that supports after school programming and activities for our inner city youth. The two schools that will benefit from this event are The James Baldwin High School and Marta Valle High School. These schools are important to GQ because we have mentored students there for almost a decade. In 2008, Jeremy Grant, a high school student who participated in our mentorship program, was tragically murdered in a crossfire incident. In his honor, the Hoops for Hope tournament was born." - https://www.facebook.com/GQNYU/ - GQ (Apr 17, 2017)
