Howland's Heroes

"My family got involved with the ALS Association three years ago when my dad was diagnosed with the disease. Last weekend, September 19, was our third walk. But our first walk without our dad. He sadly passed in January after just 18 months. In the past, we always walked in the t-shirts the ALS Association handed out. This year, as a special tribute to Glen Howland, our team, Howland's Heroes, decided to create a t-shirt that better reflected him. We chose purple and white because he was a huge Kansas State fan. The train on the back of the shirts represents his work for 40 years with the Union Pacific Railroad. The "G" wings on the front represents Glen as an angel. My experience with CustomInk has been exceptional from the time I first started designing the shirt to their donation to our fundraising efforts and the quality of the shirts. Thank you, CustomInk. We will be back!" - http://webkwc.alsa.org/site/TR/Walks/KeithWorthington?px=4153714&pg=personal&fr_id=11011 - Howland's Heroes (Sep 24, 2015)
