"These shirts are in remembrance of an amazing teacher that passed away this year. He sat in front of me at graduation (I am a high school teacher) and we talked about planning the future A's games for the staff this year (Our first memorial game was Friday September 22nd). This was a casual conversation, but now it is one I will never forget. The torch was being passed because he was retiring; this dear friend retired that Friday, graduation night. Just two days later he passed away. He was beloved by so many people that we took this opportunity to create a beautiful shirt in remembrance of him at the A's game. And Guess what? THEY WON! It was a wonderful way to honor a man that will never be forgotten."
