"My son Jacob (in the baseball hat) was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes last year at 10 yrs old. Our world changed at that moment & constant blood glucose monitoring, 4-6 insulin shots a day & vigilant carbohydrate counting became our new normal. He is the bravest person I know & together with our family, we walked in the JDRF One Walk to a Cure to turn Type 1 into Type None. Inspirational day!!"
