"Rev Karen Clayton-Hall was the type of person that a person would fall in love with the minute you interacted with her. She had a presence that would engulf an entire room when she walked in. She was a quiet and humbled storm. She was a fighter. Most importantly she was a daughter, mother, niece, cousin and mentor. She is the reason I walk. When I began this journey 10 or so years ago I was doing it to support a good cause for the millions of women that are striken with this disease but when it hit home it became personal. When Karen lost her battle with breast cancer in 2009 I started a team to keep Karen's fighting spirit alive. Karen's Angels has been participating in the Making Strides for Breast Cancer Walk at Orchard Beach in the Bronx since 2008. We would like to thank CustomInk for making this year special by creating t-shirts and sweatshirts that combined Karen's favor color (purple) with the team logo."
