Knock out MDS

"The event, held on Saturday (March 29) was a fundraiser to celebrate the life of my brother-in-law, Ryan. The fundraiser was originally organized to support Ryan in his fight against MDS (Myelodysplastic Syndrome – a form of blood cancer) and aid he and his family with extensive medical bills and the travel required during his recovery from a stem-cell transplant. I worked with Custom Ink extensively and have nothing but good things to say about them. I even had an online chat with them one night at 11:00 PM as we had two last-minute requests for shirts. The t-shirts had actually gone to print that day, but the next day, I received a personal phone call from a member of the customer service team to inform me that they were able to get the additional shirts into my order. And they didn’t even sound annoyed – the girl was actually very pleasant! WOW! The shirts arrived exactly when they were supposed to and everything was right on – from the sizing to the quality and printing. Unfortunately, Ryan passed away before the fundraiser at the age of 33, but we still held it and raised over $13,000. During the event, family and friends approached us hoping to be able to buy a shirt on the spot!! We hope to hook back up with Custom Ink later this week and give those family & friends the opportunity to order one of the t-shirts to honor Ryan’s memory. ? " - Remembering Ryan (Mar 30, 2014)
