"I invited 3 friends to visit my family's little cabin in northern Minnesota. These ladies hail from Florida, Tennessee, and Alabama, and had never experienced life like this. My daughter helped me design commemorative t-shirts for this Piccard Island adventure, and we chose a mama loon with her two babies to represent our love of family and nature.
