"Annika is the youngest of our four kids. When she was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes and hospitalized in the pediatric ICU at Renown in Reno at 6 years old, her Girl Scout troop (Troop 775, Truckee, CA) rallied around her.
Going on our second year, Troop 775 has held fundraisers and walked together to support Annika. It was especially touching to see the CustomInk tent at our JDRF walk to end Type 1 this past Sunday in Reno!
We plan to purchase our Team Awesomeness hats each and every year. They are very recognizable in our little mountain town! "
