"On Sunday, October 24, 2010, my family and I particapted in the 4th Annual NYC Walk to Beat Lung Cancer in Battery Park sponsored by LUNGevity. This event is dear to us all since we lost our beloved dad, poppy and friend to this horrible disease in September 2008. The first year he walked walked with us and we continue to walk in his honor and memory and for all those who have battled, are battling and will battle lung cancer. We pray for a cure for the leading cancer killer!"
