"Almost 30 members of our family and our friends walked in the Thumbs Up High 5K - an event that was created to spread awareness about depression, mental health, and suicide awareness - on September 26, 2015. Our team name is Josh's Crew - in honor of my dear brother, Josh, of whom we lost to suicide October 19, 2014. He was a great person; he lit up a room just with his presence. Everyday without him is a battle. In participating in these types of walks, it is my hope to break the silence and end the stigma with mental health. We have a great sense of community and find support in one another. And thanks to CustomInk, we proudly wore these beautiful tshirts and shared our story with so many people. It's a way for us to keep Josh's memory alive. Every single person that I spoke with at CustomInk - be that on the phone, via chat, text, or email - was so helpful and friendly. They all connected with me as a person and treated this shirt and its design with the utmost respect. It means the world to me and my family."
