"Mimi's Court was created in memory of Mimi Kurtz. She was a stand-out basketball player for Springfield High School and Temple University and a member of Temple's Athletic Hall of Fame and the Big Five Hall of Fame. Mimi spent her summers in Ocean City, NJ growing up. She was a school teacher who was loved by all her students. Mimi always loved to lend a helping hand to everyone around her. She was a fighter to the very end with her battle with melanoma. Her battle may be over, but we must all continue the fight. Every year, her family and friends run/walk in the Ocean City's Miles for Melanoma 5K. Thank you CustomInk for making us stand-out this year with our bright t-shirts. You really helped us unite!"
