"My family started raising money for Ovarian Cancer with various organizations in honor of my mother Nancy Schubert. She was diagnosed with an aggressive form of ovarian cancer in November 2004. She passed away at age 61 in April of 2006.
Since 2007 my family has worked with a group Better Than Ever (BTE) and has raised over $70,000.00 to date. We have participated in the NOCC walk to Break the Silence in Chicago several times, including this year on May 4th.
This picture is of our group this year Nancy's Angels in Flight. We started Nancy's Angels on Facebook as a tool for anyone who has had any experience with Ovarian Cancer directly or indirectly. We encourage others to share their stories and any new information that comes out against cancer.
