"The Hal's Pals crew raises money for the Double H Ranch, which is a summer camp founded by Paul Newman and Charles Wood for kids dealing with life-threatening illnesses, from cancer (generally Leukemia) and Sickle Cell Anemia to HIV/Immune Disorders, Neuromuscular Disorders, and even kids dependent on ventilators. Since 1993, over 160,000 kids have attended the camp, free of charge. My sister also volunteers a couple weeks of her summer vacation as a camp counselor. This is our 8th year for the event and we've raised over $22,500, which amounts to sending about 12.5 kids to camp (each kid eats about $1,800 worth of smores, approximately). My experience with CustomInk has been great. Each year I spend hours trying to make sure that everything (donations, logistics, t-shirts, and accommodations) is absolutely perfect. This was the first year where I *didn't* have to worry about t-shirts at all. I was able to spend more time on things that will benefit the kids, and in the end, that's the only thing that really matters. Thanks!" - The Hal's Pals (Jul 15, 2013)
