"This is a charity is called Mamie's Poppy Plates. The event, Race to Remember, was created to honor stillborn births and early infant loss. It is a time that friends and families can get together each year to honor those that have left this earth far too soon. My name is Katherine Crow, and my husband Trent and I are Blakely's mom and dad. We lost her when I was 38 weeks pregnant. This non-profit organization creates plates for each family that has the babies foot prints, name, and date of birth, weight, and height on them, and then the parents choose the colors and design for the plates. It is an amazing organization and we are forever grateful for it.
