"We are students from Susquehanna University who are not only friends, but people with a passion for contributing to the search for a cure for cancer. This year, we formed a team in honor of one of our best friends ( and team captain) who is a cancer survivor and an inspiration to us all. We named our team SF's Giants, not only because SF are her initials, but also because the relay's theme was baseball and the San Francisco Giants won the world series... we are quite proud of the name.=] Our team stayed from 7pm to 7am the next morning and we are proud to report that our small university was able to raise over $30,000 in this relay. We encourage you to join in a Relay For Life near you... you never know who's life you will touch and maybe even save simply because you decided to use your voice. "
