"This is the first time my team WAVES, Women.Athletes.Endurance.Sports, competed. It was a 5K race to benefit the emergency workers in a New Jersey Shore town after all the work they did during and after Hurricane Sandy. I was proud to be among one of the race sponsors and have some of my team members out to participate. Our shirts were perfect for the day and WAVES took on another significant meaning."
