"Ms. Egan runs a club at Brewster High School called S.A.L.T.Y. Hands (Saving a Life Through Today's Youth). These club members raise money for Cystic fibrosis, a progressive, genetic disease that causes persistent lung infections and limits the ability to breathe over time. CF impacts around 30,000 people in this country and nearly 70,000 worldwide. There is no cure. Through our annual event, Mr. Brewster, this club raises thousands of dollars that gets donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. "
