"NAMI is a grassroots organization that was formed in support of mental illness sufferers and their families. Our annual fundraiser is a 5k NAMI Walk to raise community awareness & to educate everyone to the fact that 1 in 4 families are affected by some type of mental disorder. Cancer, diabetes, strokes are normally clearly understood for their sometimes tragic aftermath. It is no different for those suffering from brain disorders. Help us to spread the word and take action to help in a positive way. "
