"My Dad completed the San Antonio Rock n Roll Half-Marathon in less than year (11 months) after undergoing a triple by-pass. We had planned to run together in SA in 2011 but Dad experienced difficulty during the train up, which led to the discovery he needed surgery. So proud of his courage, I had this shirt made just for him. The front reads: Walk is the New Run. Dad got lots of shouts-out on the 13.1 mile course - he was so inspiring. This is why I say that marathons save lives! Thanks to Custom Ink who ensured I got the shirt in time for the race."
