"At dinner in August of 2016, my dad asked me and my girlfriend what we were doing in August of 2017. After seeing our perplexed faces he started to tell us about the great solar eclipse of 2017. The path of totality would not only pass through his home state of Wyoming but the center would pass nearly directly over his sisters cabin outside of Wilson. He was very excited. For the next year my girlfriend and I would ask for updates and hear about plans for a family reunion, my dads practice photos, and his planned family photo contest. Unfortunately, I couldn't make the trip out because my girlfriend became my fiancé and we had to start saving for a wedding. At the beginning of August (2017) I thought what good family reunion doesn't have t-shirts. I made a quick mock-up on Custom Ink and sent it to my dad. He loved the idea and told me to order shirts the next day. I started to wonder if I had thought of this idea too late but Custom Ink's ordering was fast and flawless and we had the t-shirts in less than a week.
