"Sharon was diagnosed with breast cancer in June of 2013. She underwent a double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery. This photo shows Sharon 21 days after her silicone breast implants were placed. The shirt is used to warn others that Sharon has had surgery, and that the area under the artwork is tender. We also made another warning shirt that Sharon wore during recovery from the double mastectomy. Other women, who undergo surgery for breast cancer with our plastic surgeon are given one of these shirts at no cost. Sharon and I purchased 100 shirts for the first design and 50 for the Owiee Zone shirt. We remain anonymous to the recipients.
