"This is a picture of the Rodrigues Family at the Joseph Rodrigues Special Olympics Soccer Tournament. Joseph Rodrigues was my grandfather. He became active in Special Olympics after finding that there were no activities in the local community for his daughter. The family was honored 8 years ago when Rhode Island Special Olympics named the annual soccer tournament after him. Since then, family members spanning four generations turn out to support the Special Olympics Rhode Island by volunteering their time and energy throughout the year and especially to help with the soccer tournament. Thanks to Customink.com who helped design and make the tshirts our family and the athletes wore that day.
