"This was the 21st Lupus Walk of New England on September 8, 2013. Our 3rd year walking and second year ordering T-Shirts from CustomInk. We walk for my daughter Sparkyl was diagnosed with lupus at the young age of 10, she is now 15. This has been an up hill battle for her, it affects the enter family when she is sick. She has had chemo twice already for 9 months each. She is a very active girl, who goes to a performing arts school for dance, so when she is sick it stops everything in her life. I remember crying one time in front of her and I remember like it was yesterday, she said; "mommy" I have lupus BUT the lupus doesn't have me. So for that we are her angels and will continue to spread lupus awareness until there is a cure and that is her on both Tee's displayed in the pictures."
