Starry Night 2015

"The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston had the privilege of forming a team to join the Starry Night 8.5K this Fall of 2015. The event is in support of the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, specifically “shining light on children with brain tumors”. The walk, or run if desired, supports efforts of helping children fight one of the deadliest forms of childhood cancer by providing funds for both research and support programs. As the largest team that showed up that beautiful afternoon on October 3rd, 2015, it was an absolute honor to participate in such a rewording cause. The T-shirts we created using CustomInk designs were the most complemented shirts at the event, and really helped portray our passion represented by our school. Not only were we able to customize them for our specific team to spread awareness and support of the event, we were also able to recognize a childhood brain cancer survivor that is dear to our hearts. The shirts provided by CustomInk did an amazing job at showing our support and truly helped customize our team. As this was our first attempt to form a team for this event not knowing how many people would turn up to help, the success of the event support and purchase of T-shirts was beyond exciting and uplifting to see!
