Strollin For Nolan

"In November 2016 my nephew, Nolan, was diagnosed with Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy (CIDP). This was a complete shock to all of us and obviously had us doing all the research we could. In that research we discovered a local walk to benefit research for CIDP and GBS, the Indianapolis Walk and Roll. Last year my family of four and my parents participated in the walk. Nolan was unable to walk that year so my sister and her family did not come over (they live in St. Louis, MO). After months of working with brilliant doctors and intensive treatment you would never know Nolan had any issues. He still follows a strict treatment plan and this is an illness he will battle the rest of his life. I'm thrilled to say that this year Nolan, including his parents and younger sister, was able to walk in the Indianapolis Walk & Roll. He's the handsome fellow in front hugging his sister. And, we raised nearly $3600 benefitting research for the disease. We'll be back next year to raise more money and with 2019 shirts.
