"My family and I have participated in Cycle for Survival for the last 4 years. This raises money for cancer research, with 100% of the proceeds going to Memorial Sloan Kettering, whose research is specifically for cures to rare cancers. We do this in honor of my cousin, Alyssa. She is only 34 and has been battling a rare blood cancer, known as Multiple Myeloma for years. This year has been increasingly worse for her as the cancer has spread yet if you met her you would have no idea she’s even remotely sick. Her zest for life is truly incredible and she is a miracle. Through her time at Memorial Sloan Kettering, multiple case study trails have been done that have successfully worked for other patients. Cycle for Survival makes this possible. Though she has been fighting this battle for over 10 years and her cancer has gotten worse, there is still hope for a new treatment one day. She will continue to fight. We will all continue to fight! Custom Ink was truly incredible throughout the whole process of getting the perfect shirt for our event! Not only were the shirts fantastic, the Custom Ink team also donated to our cause! No matter the amount, it always makes a difference! It's hard to come by companies that are willing to give back and it truly means the world to my family and I!
