"On September 28, 2014, members of the Suffolk County Sheriff's Office, along with their family and friends, honored the sacrifice of firefighter Stephen Siller who laid down his life to save others on September 11, 2001. The New York Tunnel to Towers run follows the footsteps of a true hero, and raises money for our military and first responders. Suffolk's Boldest raised over $2,300.00 to provide assistance for those who continue to make the supreme sacrifice of life and limb for our country.
