"This is the fourth year that Swamp Things has participated in the Swedish Foundation SummeRun for Ovarian Cancer. We began in honor of our friend Lisa Glomb who died of ovarian cancer in 2015. We carry on in memory and support for all those touched by this disease. This year our team raised $7,927 for the Rivkin Center for Ovarian Cancer.
The original Swamp Thing (DC Comics) fought against evil and searched for a means to transform back to human form. Much like those touched by ovarian cancer.

Our t-shirt (new this year) is based on an original drawing by one of our team. We uploaded to Custom Ink and chose a t-shirt based on the particular color that our artist wanted (aqua - available in American Apparel). We consulted with the Custom Ink staff about quality and were thrilled with the result. Everything happened according to schedule and customer service was stellar. Thank you Custom Ink!"
