"I'm a 20 year old college student navigating the waters of the second year of "Jake's on the Lake." It's a business I started last summer. With little money, I managed to buy a pontoon boat, a freezer, and a State of Maine Mobile Vendors License, and began my first foray into entrepreneurship. I set sail on the ice cream boat each day, and sell ice cream (and t-shirts) to the visitors to the lake. In two summers, I have gained some money for college tuition, but more importantly, many friends and lasting memories.
