"It was a rainy October Boston day, but Team Amelia's spirit and purpose were not dampened as we walked in our 6th annual JDRF OneWalk for a World without Type 1 Diabetes. Amelia (center back) was diagnosed at age 8. She is now 13 and manages the disease well with an insulin pump and lots of help from her friends and family. The Walk gives her a chance to do more for the community by raising money and awareness in hope that a cure will be found soon! "
