"On Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013, 19 spirited team members gathered to join the Walk to Defeat ALS in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Wearing red organic cotton T-shirts from Customink, Team Bauer not only "walked the walk," but "talked the talk," taking top honors for highest donations for a team, highest donations to an individual, and Julia Bauer, who is in her third year battling ALS, was honored as "Hero of the Year" by the ALS Association of Michigan. A big day, all around."
