"It all starts with Corbin. Corbin has Trisomy 13. Most people have no idea what it is, so we're trying to spread the word.
Trisomy is a rare genetic disorder where you have an extra 13th chromosome. While already battling the harsh label of "incompatible with life" this little miracle blessed the earth 7 weeks early on April 4th, 2013 weighing in at 4 lbs 4 oz and 17 inches long. Corbin was breathing on his own for the first hour of life, and continues to prove miracles do exist. With the assistance of a ventilator he continues to grow stronger day by the day. Corbin was given a less than 1% chance of being born alive let alone breathing on his on. Corbin defies the odds everyday is is 80 days old today.
