"Team Dave is a group of family and friends, who come together every September to bike 275 miles from Boston to New York in Cycle for the Cause: The Northeast AIDS Ride. We are named in memory of Dave, who rode in the first AIDS Ride in 1995. He passed away from ALS last year. We ride for him.
The t-shirt is actually from a likeness that Dave designed, including his motto "Until Further Notice... Celebrate Everything". Time caught up to us, and we wound up making a rush order online, followed by finalization over the phone the next day, where Custom Ink walked us through everything we needed for exactly the shirt we wanted.
Three days later, I had a box of amazing shirts. Now my only concern is the repeat order, from all the people who want one.
P.S. Those tattoo sleeves are actually sleeves. We're really a bunch of middle-aged professionals, whose only ink is on our shirts."
