"This photograph was taken today, June 11th, at the Northern Virginia Food Allergy Heroes Walk sponsored by Food Allergy Research and Education (FARE). FARE's mission is to help improve the quality of life of those living with food allergies and provide them some hope for a treatment one day. There were three children, including my daughter, on our team who have food allergies so everyone on the team had a huge connection to the event. The team name, FAREy Tales, inspired the design of the shirt. The castles represent the "fairy" aspect and the ribbon walking represents the cause. And teal is the food allergy awareness color. Not pictured is the back of the shirt which lists the event name, location, date, and motto. We received multiple compliments from strangers regarding the shirts. The experience with CustomInk was fantastic. I worked closely with Todd DuBois, a friend of my husband's. He helped me with any questions I had and helped me chose a couple things for the design. I'd also like to thank CustomInk for their kind donation of $20 to FARE. I am planning to order more shirts for next year's FARE walk so I hope you will seriously consider our photograph in this contest. Thank you!"
