"Almost two months ago my grandmother, Diana Hughes, passed away from pancreatic cancer. Shortly after her passing my family and I decided to do a relay for life, and to help raise awareness for pancreatic cancer. My grandma had 6 granddaughters that were her whole world, so we put together the team grandma's girl's! In a little over a month we managed to raise $700 dollars to go toward research for pancreatic cancer.. June 10th we walked 12 hours straight in my grandma's memory and to help the fight against cancer. 98 % of people diagnosed with pancreatic cancer pass away in the first year after being diagnosed. There are no signs of this kind of cancer till it is to late. Although my grandma lost her fight, we won't stop fighting till there is a cure. No family such have to go through this pain! Join my family and help spread awareness for pancreatic cancer! "
