"Jessica V Tyrol lost her battle with melanoma on May 15, 2012 after only being diagnosed in October, 2011. She was an amazing daughter, sister, and friend. Each year Team JVT participates in the Moving for Melanoma 5k Run/Walk in Wilmington, DE to raise money for melanoma research. It is also somewhat of an annual reunion where all of Jess's friends and family come together to celebrate her life. She was only 24 when she passed. "
