"I have had MS for over 13 years, and been in a wheelchair for the past 6 years. This incurable disease struck me 2 years before my daughter Marcy came into my life. As a single Mom, I am doing whatever I can to provide Marcy a loving and normal upbringing. Marcy is a thriving 4th grader, playing lacrosse and saxophone and dancing ballet and tap.
My team, Team Marcy's Mom, came together to support me as we all walked to raise money toward finding a cure for Multiple Sclerosis(MS). This fight is personal for me. I was honored to be selected as the Most Inspirational Walker at this location. I cut the ribbon that kicked off the Walk. Every CustomInk t-shirt rep I spoke to were kind, creative people helping me to achieve my vision within a budget. The shirts were a hit with my team. The day was perfect for the Walk, the scenery was unbeatable (Statue of Liberty, the Freedom Tower, Ellis Island, etc.) and a great day was had by all.
