"Nana York City was started by the grandchildren of Jeanne W. Cain. An incredible woman who lost her life to breast cancer. Nana found out about the cancer just after her 90th birthday. It spread very fast, giving her only a little time to fight.
The graphic used for the shirt is Manhattan's George Washington Bridge. It's the view from Nana's apartment window, where my mother-in-law and my wife's aunts and uncles grew up. This For the Cain grandchildren, the image symbolizes all the wonderful memories they hold from visiting Nana and Papa at their apartment in New York City.
Nana York City is our way of getting together to honor Nana's memory. "
