"Our shirts were for the Menifee Relay for Life, which was held on May 17th. This is our second year to have our own Relay for Life Team. Team Sal was created after my husband was diagnosed with leukemia. We have participated with the Relay for 5 years now. Last year we raised $10,000 and this year we came close to $5,000! So we hope each year we raise as much as we can. My husband has been in remission for almost two years. He went back to work a year ago and continues to serve his country as an Air National Guard and the county in law enforcement. He has only a 10% survival rate for 3 years and continues to live his life like nothing ever happened. We are VERY proud of his continued strength.
