Team SCRAP - Steamworks Edition 2017

"This photograph was taken for the high school yearbook. This shirt design was done by the students. The CustomInk website was easy to use and the shirts turned out awesome!! We're on a tight budget and the shirts are high quality and reasonably priced. Team SCRAP was thrilled to get their CustomInk T-shirts because that means we're getting close to the kick off of the 2017 First Robotics competition season. SCRAP is a FIRST Robotics Team based out of Weymouth High School in Weymouth, Massachusetts. The team was created in 2012 and has competed in six competitions throughout New England since then. In 2015, Team SCRAP won their first two awards: Gracious Professionalism and Team Spirit. Team SCRAP is a vibrant community and a source of pride within the town. The team participates in town events, school programs, and provides outreach to younger members of the academic body. SCRAP stands for “Student Community of Robotics and Programming” and was created by the original team in 2012. The name was chosen because it not only showed the team's identity, but it also emphasized that the team utilizes spare parts and scrap metal from the school's metal fabrication shop to build a functioning robot. Our use of old materials is not only better for the environment, but it also gives students more of a chance to complete hands-on work putting together all of these pieces, leaving students with a greater sense of pride when they see their robot competing for the first time at competition. Thanks to CustomInk for making our team look great! We'll be wearing these proudly for the upcoming competition season." - - Team SCRAP 4151 (Dec 09, 2016)
