Temple Micah Collects New Underwear for the Homeless

"Each year for the Jewish High Holy Days, Temple Micah's 6th graders help to provide dignity to the area's homeless by collecting NEW underwear items to Friendship Place, a local community-based organization that works with the District's homeless population. Our goal this year is 10,000 pieces, which will supply Friendship Place for the entire year. The photo is of the 6th grade class handing out shopping bags on Rosh Hashanah to congregants who will return the shopping bags on Yom Kippur filled with new underwear. Custom Ink has been wonderful to work with in producing the t-shirts for our 6th graders to wear when they volunteer." - http://www.templemicah.org - Temple Micah (Oct 03, 2014)
