The Gold Crusaders take on the Virginia Polar Dip

"Our team, The Gold Crusaders, comprised of Tropical Smoothie Cafe owners, employees, family members and friends, came together to raise funds and jump for Team Mathias at the Virginia Polar Dip on February 7, 2015 at Lake Anne Plaza in Reston, VA. The Gold Crusaders raised more than $7,700 for Camp Sunshine [a camp available all year at Lake Sebago, Maine that provides respite, support, joy, and hope to children with life-threatening illnesses and their immediate families from around the world through the various stages of their journeys.] "The name 'The Gold Crusaders' was chosen because the gold ribbon represents childhood cancer. As "Crusaders" we raised money and awareness to defeat childhood cancer" says Jessica Seminaro, Tropical Smoothie Cafe franchise owner and team captain. "We absolutely LOVE our t-shirts and are so grateful to the Customink team that helped make get them done" says Seminaro. The ice was cut away with a chain saw to create the hole to jump into. It's silly cold! " - https://www.facebook.com/pages/Virginia-Polar-Dip/102247939835295 - The Gold Crusaders (Feb 09, 2015)
