"On December 29, 2013, a remarkable young man, Trevor, was taken from us unexpectedly in a car crash at the young age of 19. He had such a bright outlook on life. No matter what was thrown his way, you never saw Trevor without a smile on his face, a kind word to make you grin or laugh, a shoulder to lean on, a friend to talk to or a helping hand to lend. Trevor was always there! He touched the lives of so many people around him. To honor Trevor’s memory, his friends wanted to purchase a granite memorial bench to be placed at Bolivar-Richburg School overlooking the athletic field since one of Trevor's passions was football. In order to accomplish this, we started out selling t-shirts from CustomInk which was a great experience. We came up with the quote, "Your Ride Will Never End... Forever In Our Hearts" because Trevor's other pastime was riding his bike. He would ride it for miles!! On March 8th we had another benefit which included a spaghetti dinner, chinese auction, raffles, bake sale and t-shirts. The support was overwhelming!! The proceeds will be used to finish paying for the bench as well as a scholarship set up in Trevor's name at the school where he graduated in 2012. "
