Tuffy's Team at the 10th Annual Krispy Kreme Challenge 2014

"This was the 10th annual running of the Krispy Kreme Challenge in Raleigh, NC. This is the home of the Krispy Kreme Challenge. The run was started by 10 students at NC State University based on a dare and now has over 8,000 participants each year. The Challenge is to start running from the University's Bell Tower (pictured in the background), run 2.5 miles to the Krispy Kreme, eat one dozen glazed donuts, and run 2.5 miles back all in under one hour. You can also participate as a casual runner and just do the best you can. Money is raised in support of North Carolina Children's Hospital. This year $200,000 was raised. We decided to call our team, "Tuffy's Team" based on the nickname for our NC State University character mascot. We had three challengers competing, casual runners, and supporters as part of our team. Custom Ink was FANTASTIC in helping us create a custom design and the customer service was above and beyond expectations! The shirts were the perfect red (University color) and great quality...everyone was thrilled! We were very proud to run in our "Tuffy's Team" shirts!" - Tuffy's Team (Feb 11, 2014)
