"Our team #MerrittStrong participated in the Survivor Mud Run at Lake Elsinore, CA on Sept. 16, 2017. All of us are either employees or relatives of employees at a police department in southern California. Last October, one of our Sergeants was involved in a major traffic collision while patrolling on his motorcycle unit. He suffered many significant injuries and to this day is still in a recovery facility. While he is fighting to continue to heal and regain his ability to walk, we decided to create a way to show our support for his recovery. We created the Run for W310 / Merritt Strong shirts, wear them out while we were doing things to better ourselves and then post pictures of us using the hashtag #MerrittStrong. That way Sgt. Merritt can search the hashtags and see everyone who is thinking about him and supporting him. This mud run was our first big group event, the shirts held up beautifully through it! Everyone at CustomInk that I spoke to throughout the ordering processes were phenomenal and the quality of work was fantastic. Thank you for giving us a way to show our respect to our brother in blue and keep his spirits up. "
