"September 6th, 2014 we did the ALS walk in Rochester, MN. My grandmother fought a year battle with this terrible disease and lost the battle on July 15th, 2014. I want to bring awareness to this terrible disease. What people don't realize is that every day in the US, 16 people are diagnosed with this heartbreaking disease that steals their ability to speak, walk, eat, and eventually breathe. Watching my grandma suffer though this was the hardest thing i will ever have do in my entire life.
