"Last October I was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma (cancer of the blood). I am now in complete remission. This year I decided to create a team to walk & raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The walk was like none I had ever attended. It was called light the night, began at dusk, and we all carried lanterns. White was for survivors, Red was for supporters, and Yellow lanterns were carried in memory of those who passed. I chose the team name Walk with a LYMPH because of my Hodgkins Lymphoma! We raised over $1000.00 and were in the top 5 for fundraising. I received so many compliments on our shirts that night!
